Established in 2007 to bridge a void in services for vulnerable adults.
We provide person centred support for adults with learning disabilities, companionship for the socially isolated, support individuals with their mental health needs, individuals with dementia, alzheimers, challenging behaviour and autism. We are an approved provider, commissioned by Durham County Council.
All of our staff are qualified up to NVQ level 3 and have attended professional training courses covering all aspects of the autism spectrum and challenging behaviours. We regualarly access distance larning courses to ensure our practice remains current and well informed.
All of our staff are enhanced DBS (disclosure barring service) checked.
We offer our clients a bespoke service tailored to their needs and with the appropriate ratio of staff support, offering opportunties such as: day care, support into the community, a sitting service and short breaks/ holidays. The service operates on a 24/7 basis and we are open Bank Holidays.
Staff encourage all of our clients to develop life skills, to achieve goals and reach their full potential.
